Concept Study Aston Martin DB9 Wheel, Borrani

KesselsGranger DesignWorks was asked by Ruote Milano Srl (Italy) to develop a concept study for a Borrani Bimetal wheel for the Aston Martin DB9. The design was inspired by the heritage of Borrani wheels and details of the Aston Martin DB9.

Borrani wheels have been handmade in Italy for over 90 years, to original specifications and to the highest standards. The relationship between Aston Martin and Borrani spans for decades. In particular, the famous Aston Martin DB5 that was used in James Bond "Goldfinger" was equipped with Borrani wire wheels with retractable tyre slashers.
