Lastauto Omnibus | Lighter is more beautiful
“"The design had to be very integral, conveying a sense of lightness and timeless elegance,” says designer Steven Kessels, who previously worked with James Granger on the Ebusco 2.2. "We had a lot of freedom and paid particular attention to efficiency and smooth lines and precision." Whether it's the striking front, which suggests a wing shape from front to back, or the extensive modeling of the lower sidewalls. "There are many details to the surface area not normally present on a bus," says Granger. This continues to the rear, where the two designers didn't have to consider built-in battery packs or a traditional engine compartment."
